I just recently, after a 2 hour long and painful crying attack, built up my relationship with my mother.
(... ... IT'S ABOUT TIME!!  )I didn't love her before, but I was still in need of her and I needed to feel that she loves me. And I didn't feel respected or treated like anything other than someone below her. But this time, we both went over the line. We screamed at each other, one prejudiced feeling after another, and suddenly she yelled that I didn't have to see her anymore and ran off. But I realized something. That's not what I want! I just want to have a better relationship with her! I don't want to feel the way I feel, what with not loving her. But I've tried my best. The reason she had been so vulnerable today is because her father, my grandfather, will die soon. And it was the first time in these sixteen years (and a half) that I had seen her crying. The first time ever. And I just broke apart. Stuff happened, and all of her feelings just hit me. I felt her love for me, and for the first time in a long while, I felt welcome. For once. And it felt so wonderful. I think our relationship will improve greatly after this... I think I will grow to love her someday. That's what I truly hope for. --- Now, this... It's not really a masterpiece and I don't like it.  But I just wrote something down to stop the tears from falling. |
