Note me
Tagged by: ... myself.
◆ Your name?
Mio Adrian Dahlbäck. I don't really have a nickname or anything anymore. But I've been called Kitsu (after Kitsune) once and that was awesome.

On other websites, I've been called Crowley, Crow and Kråkan (which is the Crow in Swedish).
◆ If possible, your age?
19. No, I'm just lying. Not yet. :]
◆ When did you start drawing?
... When I could hold a pencil?
◆ Which hand do you use for drawing?
Righto.
◆ Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Uhh, actually, it's about the same for me. But usually, females are faster to draw so I guess they're easier. But I like drawing males more than females.
◆ Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
I find more creative designs when I use long hair, but it's the same there too.

Neither is easier or harder for me.
◆ Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Oh, facing towards the left, definitely. I always end up doing that. In the end, it doesn't make much difference though. It's just a habit.
◆ Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
I'm not that good with the front views, at least not if they're facing completely forward. I'm just not good at symmetry. So yeah, side view for sure. I don't even have to sketch while drawing side view faces. (Secret revealed!)
◆ What do you have problems in drawing?
Buildings, feet and certain items.
◆ What do you like to draw?
Surrealism, animals, males, emotional expressions and hands.
◆ Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Traditional, through and through. Someone actually commented on a coloured pencil picture and asked what kind of program I used. I got a good laugh out of that.
◆ Where do you start drawing from?
One of the person's cheeks, depending on where he/she is facing. If it's a side view, I always start with the person's nose.
◆ What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Well, I told you about that already. But I also have a habit of not seeing what I've sketched up.

So I line it wrong.
◆ Any tips for coloring/shading?
IT HURTS MY FINGERS BADLY.
... Uhhh, I don't really have any tips that I could think of. Just try to use different colours in the person's skin. For example, Kitsune's skin is a skin tone, then brown, then red. Crowley's skin is a skin tone, gray and then purple. It turns out great, even if it's a weird colour to put into someone's face.
◆ How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
1-10 hours, maybe? Though I'm not sure if I've ever spent 10 hours on a piece. ... Maybe I should try.
◆ What music do you listen to while you draw?
EVERYTHING. Josh Groban, Utada Hikaru, Angela, game/anime/movie OST, Skillet, Evanescence, Nightmare, April Sixth, ON/OFF, Eclipse, SID, Abingdon Boys School, fgnhdfghksdhgsdlg... Yeah, everything.
◆ How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
It can take up to 10 seconds. Seriously. Yeah, my drama teacher praised me a great deal for that.
◆ Your favorite drawing utensils?
I think it's more fun to use ProMarkers, but I prefer using coloured pencils since I'm more skilled with them and I like how it turns out.
◆ Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
... Black? Huh, I don't know. Do I use a specific colour a lot, you think? I have no idea.

◆ Your favorite style(s)?
I don't know how to answer that, but surrealism and manga is what keeps me going I suppose.
◆ What kind of artist are you aiming for?
I want to become friends with my fans. I respect them highly, so I want to treat them accordingly, unlike some people who only want to be worshiped by everyone and then don't even give their fans a second glance. I want to love and be loved in return.
And I want to prove that you don't need education to become famous for what you do. I want to see that same passion that I have in other people and then get motivation through it. I want to live for and through my art and let anyone - everyone - feel what I put into every single piece.
... Well, most of those things I've already achieved. But I want to get better!
◆ Thank you.
Now please fill in the next columns by writing the names of the artists that match the criteria. Artists tagged must (not, only if feels like it) fill in this baton.
... NUH-UH. You decide if you want to do it or not.
COMISSIONS - LOWERED PRICES
First off some would say my pictures aren't worth buying. It's sad that I never get to hear a reason for anything bad said about what I put 120% of my heart into, but I know that some just can't give out an explanation because that's just how they feel. It's only human to have different tastes, different likes and dislikes etc. So I won't be offended if no one wants to buy.

Don't worry.
Now to the matter at hand.
I've started accepting comissions before my work starts in order to earn some extra money. For a quick look in my gallery, proceed to the
[link] please.
Depending on the hours spent on the piece, the price goes up. For a detailed piece such as these:

it takes me about 3-5 hours. It's 5 USD per hour which means I would charge 15, 20 or 25 USD for this particular piece. If you want me to take even longer, I will do so by adding more details, further polishing the whole piece and such, but that would cost you more.
För svenskar blir det 107, 143 och 180 kr.Now, a black & white or ProMarker picture takes me about 2 hours, narrowing it down to only 10 USD.
= 72 kr för svenskar (Again, that depends on how many details you are asking me to put in. A fully small-detailed picture costs more.)
Examples:

Examples of more detailed ones:

These would cost about 20-25 USD like the ones I mentioned first. (
143-180 kr)
Don't worry, if a picture I'm working on haven't taken me enough hours, I'll make sure it does by putting in more details and such. I won't charge extra if it takes more time than planned, and I will NOT count in the extra time it takes when I feel unmotivated, lost for ideas or can't seem to get a pose right. I want it to be fair.A chibi, regardless of time spent on the piece and materials used, is 5 USD.
= 36 kr.
Examples:

I will draw anything manga/anime related, be it fan art or even one of my creations, as long as it's not hentai/yaoi/yuri - it's perfectly fine though if it's not too explicit or pornographic. (I can draw naked bodies as long as the vital region is covered.)
I accept no cancellations and there will be no refunds. Tell me what kind of piece you're looking for (you may give examples of my earlier work) and I'll start working as soon as I receive your payment. If you so wish for it, I will send you a preview of the lineart in case you want me to change anything. (But remember that once lined, I can't change what's already there. I can add things, though.)
Please contact me through a note if you're interested, and we'll talk about the details of your purchase.
... Oh, right. I accept PayPal payments only.
För svenskar som inte har PayPal behövs ingen sådan betalning eftersom ni inte handlar internationellt. Ge mig en note så diskuterar vi hur just du kan betala på bästa sätt.Oh no! There's a contest going on? Check it out!
